Creative Review Workspace

AI for the creative process

Innovating workflows for big shot studio writers, and artists

The product

Creative Review Workspace is an AI writing review tool for creative studios.

Writers submit a brief and get a structured scorecard: clarity, brand safety, hook strength and more, with inline notes and one-click fixes.

It turns a slow, subjective review into something fast, consistent and ready to ship.

The whole team

I designed every screen and wrote every line of code.

Product, design, engineering, QA: on this one, that was all me. From the first token in the design system to the deterministic AI review engine, the streaming dictation, and 439 tests.

Zero to one, solo.

Built solo

Every line, mine

A real function from the codebase, and exactly what it produces.

doc-page.ts
export function barTone(score: number, threshold: number): BarTone {
if (score >= threshold) return 'pass'
const gap = threshold - score
if (gap <= 20) return 'minor'
return 'risk'
}

Score vs. its threshold decides the color. The same logic drives the live scorecard at the top of this page.

The design system

32 components, every token defined once. A sample.

The takeaway

A studio can review a brief in seconds, not days.

And the whole thing, the product, the design system and the AI behind it, was designed and built by one person.

That is what design engineering looks like.
